Upcoming elections notice:
The elections for the AStA International and AStA Antiklassimus take place on
- Wednesday, 10.06.2026 from 08:00-14:00
- Thursday, 11.06.2026 from 09:00-15:00
in the AStA building (Staudingerweg 21).
To vote, it is necesssary to bring your student ID or a similar document proving to be an immatriculated student at JGU (available online in Jogustine) and an official ID proving your identity.
Students with disabilities unable to vote themselves may bring a person helping them during the vote or filling the election forms for them.

Who is allowed to vote?
According to the Satzung Art. 31a, Abs. 1 (this is the JGU students constitution) all students represented by the group which is to be elected may vote or can announce their candidateship (the latter only on the groups general assembly).
Voting per Mail (postal, not e-mail!)
You can send a request to vote per mail until the 02.06.2026 13:30
by sending an e-mail from your university student email adress to autonome-wahlen@stupa.uni-mainz.de
or a letter to
"Wahlausschuss AStA International" or "Wahlausschuss AStA Antiklassismus"

To request voting per mail your request needs to contain the following:
Your name
Your adress (else we can't send you the forms)
The Elections you request to vote for by mail (e.g. AStA International)
A document document proving you to be an immatriculated student at JGU e.g. "Studienbescheinigung" (available online in Jogustine)
The filled in voting forms need to reach the AStA (see adress above) until the end of the election, which is on 11.06.2026 at 15:00 else they are considered void.

The AStA International represents all state-less students and all students with a non-german nationality or both german and non-german nationality.
AStA Antiklassismus-Referat
The Antiklassismus Referat represents all students which are socially, culturally and financially disadvantaged.
